Tame Impala is a four piece psych-rock band from Perth, Australia. I heard their album Innerspeaker and was blown away by their material. Their music definitely has a a swirly, 60′s pop-psychedelic sound, but I also hear some jazz influences in there. These guys are still young and hopefully their songwriting will mature and evolve into something greater. Fans of Dungen and Brian Jonestown Massacre should enjoy.
